His current research interests are the development of new synthetic methodologies, natural products like libraries, and b-lactamase inhibitors. He is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry UK, IUPAC, Chemical Research Society of India, Association of Chemistry Teachers Mumbai, Indian Science Congress Association, Green Chemistry Network and others.
